One of only four homes on a private island is now for sale.
The six-bedroom, six-bathroom home at 4315 Mangrove Place sits on 0.61 acres of waterfront on the private South Cocoanut Bayou Island in Siesta Key. Douglas Elliman broker associate Inbal August listed the waterfront estate for $15.95 million.
The multistructure estate spans over an acre, featuring a main residence and a guest house with its own elevator and full kitchen. The main house includes the bedrooms, a private office, a home theater, elevator and three-car garage.
Outside, the estate includes a saltwater pool and spa, multilevel travertine terraces and a deepwater dock with access to the Intracoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico.
The kitchen is custom with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. It also has professional wine storage.
The home has impact-rated windows and doors and a smart home automation system.
The 7,535-square-foot home has been on the market for about a month. It last sold for $3.8 million in 2013.
In 2024, only a few Sarasota County properties sold for above $15 million. This listing would come in at $2,117 per square foot.
Recently, a historic Sarasota estate was listed at $17.5 million, or $2,239 per square foot.
Earlier this month, a Longboat Key mansion’s sale marked the most expensive in Sarasota County’s history at $30.3 million. That home has 19,300 square feet of living space, making it $1,570 per square foot.
