Tampa's second-priciest home sale of the year closes on Davis Islands
A Davis Islands home sold for $12.8 million, making it the second-highest residential sale in Tampa this year.
The 7,825-square-foot home at 72 Adalia Ave. sold Monday for $1,636 per square foot, according to a deed recorded in Hillsborough County. The bayfront estate was previously listed by Jennifer Zales of Coldwell Banker Realty in April for $14.8 million, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Luxury Living of Tampa Bay advertising supplement, but the recent sale appears to be off-market.
The home has five bedrooms, five full and two half bathrooms and a three-car garage. It sits on a 100-foot-wide bayfront lot with unobstructed water views.

The property last sold in 2002 for $1.23 million, and the home was built by Windstar Homes in 2006, according to property records. It has multiple terraces, a pool, an outdoor kitchen and a private dock and lift.
Zales could not be reached for comment on the sale.
The highest residential sale to date is the $15 million sale of John Accardi’s mansion in South Tampa’s Culbreath Isles. Accardi is the co-founder of 717 Parking.
