MilkShake Factory to open first Tampa Bay location in Riverview
A national dessert brand rooted in more than a century of chocolate-making tradition is bringing its shakes and sweets to the Tampa Bay area.
The MilkShake Factory, known for its handspun milkshakes and small-batch chocolates, will debut its first Tampa Bay location in Riverview on May 17. The store will be located at 10446 Stelling Drive in a newly built shopping center next to Wing Snob and Einstein Bagels.

This Riverview location marks franchise owner Michael Longman’s first venture into the brand.
“There’s nothing quite like MilkShake Factory in our area,” Longman said. “We saw a real opportunity to bring something special and new to the community.”
The menu will include signature shakes like chocolate dipped strawberry, campfire s’mores, and cookies and cream — all made with housemade ice cream — alongside confections like molten chocolate cups and chocolate barks. Non-dairy options will also be available.

Founded in 1914 in Pittsburgh, MilkShake Factory evolved from a small soda fountain and chocolate shop into a nationally expanding dessert chain.
The Riverview store will be open daily from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
